This "Ukrainian Day" event is extremely important as we will advocate for the implementation of the Ukraine Freedom Support Act, which was signed into law by President Obama in December 2014. Implementing the law would provide Ukraine with desperately-needed military assistance that would deter Putin's war and the Russian-backed terrorists in eastern Ukraine. Our goal in March will be to seek implementation of Ukraine's most pressing need - military assistance!
The two-day advocacy event includes many components including a briefing session, congressional meetings, an evening reception, a congressional breakfast with members of the Congressional Ukrainian Caucus, and a rally in support of Ukraine in front of the White House.
