Like many Verizon subscribers, we were surprised to see a new commercial come out today claiming to show an HD channel devoted to Ukrainian Folk Dance on its FiOS TV service.

This is nothing but false advertising. Our community has been demanding more high-quality folk dance in HD for years, and we can absolutely confirm that there exists no such service at this time.

If Verizon is truly interested in experiencing the best in Ukrainian culture, including Ukrainian Folk Dance in all of its full-color resolution, we can think of no better suggestion than for them to visit some of our communities across the US this summer, beginning tonight with:
